Citizens Advice Derbyshire Districts

Hello,
We are Over 65’s advisers from Citizen’s Advice Derbyshire Districts and part of a new project funded by Cadent.

Cadent (the gas distributor) are committed to providing additional help to people over pension age and people with disabilities or health conditions who would benefit from the priority service in the event of an energy outage or planned works.

As part of this we have some information leaflets, free carbon monoxide monitors and other energy saving appliances to give away to people who sign up to the priority services register with Cadent and the National grid.

We will be here on 1st November 2024 from 10.00am to help you do this and all we require you to do is sign some consent forms for us to add you to the register.

There is no charge for this service, and you will leave here today with peace of mind, free gift’s and some good advice.

As part of our project, we can perform a full check on the benefits you receive which includes non-means tested benefits you may not know you could be entitled to. If you would like this service, we can arrange an appointment by telephone or face to face at one of our local offices.

Thank you.

Julie Thornley, Over 65’s Adviser, Citizens Advice
