This group is only open to current Members of the Belper and District u3a.

Digital Photography

Meetings – 2nd Monday of the month, 13:30-15:30 at the Strutts Community Centre. Occasional additional outings.

Costs - £1 per session towards room hire.

Who – Anyone interested in experimenting with their camera, sharing their photographs and developing a greater understanding of digital photography in a supportive environment. Beginners welcome.

Requirements – A camera! Anything from a smartphone or compact camera to a DSLR. A laptop / PC for downloading / processing images from your camera would be useful, as would a willingness to read your camera manual / internet resources, to help realise its potential.

Typical group activities – a monthly theme to encourage members to take photographs that stretch their experience and share their results in a supportive non-competitive forum. Occasional tutorials from members (either researched or from experience), photo-shoot outings or exhibition visits.
