This group is only open to current members of Belper & District u3a.

We’re launching a new film group for anyone who enjoys watching and talking about films—think book club, but for cinema.

We meet every three weeks. For each session, the group will select at least one film to watch in advance, followed by an open, informal discussion. There’ll also be time to chat about other films people have seen recently and, if there’s interest, TV series too.

The aim is simple: share recommendations, explore different genres and styles, and enjoy thoughtful (and fun) conversations about what we watch.

All levels of film knowledge welcome—whether you’re a casual viewer or a dedicated cinephile.
