This group is only open to current Members of the Belper and District u3a.

Friday Fivers Walking Group.

Meets - every Friday, 9.30 or 10am, returning mid-afternoon

Costs - petrol costs, car-share contribution

Requirements - Reasonable level of fitness to cover the distance, climb hills and get over stiles

Equipment - walking boots, waterproof clothing, walking pole

Aims and Objectives - Walking 5/6/7/8 miles in the countryside.

Examples of activities, past or planned - most of our walks take place in the Peak District, though sometimes we walk more locally and sometimes to the south and east of Belper.

Group members volunteer to lead walks.
