The Belper & District u3a Committee would like to reassure our members that the data held in our Beacon System was not affected by the recent data breach reported by a company with a similar name. National u3a Office sent the following statement:-

"Beacon CRM has contacted their customers and put out a statement about a data breach. Beacon CRM and the u3a's membership management software, Beacon, are completely separate and unrelated products. Beacon is not impacted by this incident."
